DEUBLIN (DALIAN) PRECISON ROTATIING UNIONS CO.,LTD

Founded in 1945 by Luke Deubler and Dick Linn, the company would revolutionize the way rotary devices operate and perform. Combining their last names, they named their new Company the Deublin Company. Its first product will be an innovative rotary swivel design that incorporates a balanced mechanical seal.



At that time, the most popular type of sealing mechanism was the pressure seal. These seals rely on system pressure to keep the worn surface fit, which turns out to be problematic as equipment speeds increase. In particular, the press is vulnerable to rapid wear of pressure seals.



Luke saw an opportunity to improve industry standards, and the final design was an immediate success. By designing mechanical seals as rotary joints, Luke pushed the Company to the forefront of the industry and inspired the development of the Deublin Company, which continues to this day.



Set a new standard

In addition to the printing press, Luke has designed unions for a variety of applications, including air clutches, gearboxes, machine tool spindles, textile equipment, continuous casting machines, paper machines, and rubber-making machines.

After a few years of successful startup, Dick decided to focus on other areas of the business. He sold his shares to Luke, making him the sole owner.
